To celebrate International Women’s Day under the INDIA@75 initiative of the Government of India, a one-of-its-kind expedition led by Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri Ms. Bachendri Pal, a noted legendary mountaineer and the first Indian woman to scale Mount. Everest was organized. The Fit@50+ Women’s Trans Himalayan Expedition ‘22 in association with Tata Steel Adventure Foundation was a unique all-women expedition that had participants belonging to the age group of 50’s and 60’s across India.
